This 6-Week class will focus on teaching easy to use techniques that are needed to perform strong, intelligent, improvised scenes. These skills and techniques can easily be applied to our acting and audition preparation.
Becoming more comfortable with improvisation can help you become a stronger, more confident performer and auditioner.
This class will concentrate on scene work, relevant to what you experience as an actor, with an emphasis placed on creating strong relationships with your scene partner and making bold specific choices.

Doug Morency is an award-winning Improviser with over 30 years of professional experience. He is an alumnus of the Second City where he performed in 7 Main Stage revues, Directed 2 Main Stage revues and numerous revues for the National Touring Company.
Doug has taught at the Second City for 18 years and is currently a senior member of the faculty at the Second City Hollywood, where he works as an Instructor and Director in the Conservatory program.
He has been coaching actors in Los Angeles for the past 5 years and in that time his clients have booked numerous co-star, guest-star, and recurring roles, as well as network testing for series leads.
